Weddings FAQ

Where do we begin?

The hard part is over if you’ve secured your ceremony and reception venues! Our Sales Manager will be happy to check availability and quote a rate for you once your date is selected. It is best to have an idea of about how many rooms you’ll need when you call.

How do guests make reservations?

Guests will have until your cutoff date, which is four weeks before the wedding, to make reservations at the group rate. Guests can make reservations by calling and referencing your group or they can book online. A personalized group booking link will be provided that will automatically populate the date of your wedding and your group rate.

Do the Bride and Groom get a free night?

We offer one complimentary night for every 50 room nights picked up in your block on a cumulative basis.

Do you offer shuttle service?

We offer a complimentary shuttle that travels within a three mile radius of the hotel. It operates on a first come first served basis and can carry 9 passengers at a time. We cannot reserve the shuttle for any groups. For your special day, we recommend arranging a private shuttle if you need a large number of guests transported to your venue.

Can we give out welcome bags to our guests?

Our front desk staff will be happy to distribute your welcome bags to your guests upon check in for a small fee per bag.

Do you have parking?

Overnight parking is available in our lot or in the UPMC garage next door. The rate, which is negotiated with your group block, is the same in both lots. Guests enjoy in and out privileges, so they can come and go as much as they need to!

Where can we gather after the reception?

Bridges Lounge is available to bring your group back to after the reception so you can keep the party going! We have a late night menu available if you would like to pre-order some snacks for your group. No outside food and beverage is permitted in Bridges Restaurant and Lounge (including the patio).
