UPMC Presbyterian is one single hospital with two buildings —Presbyterian and Montefiore — linked by a pedestrian bridge. Various resources and amenities are available in both buildings, and it’s likely that patients may receive care in both facilities. Trauma Units

Trauma services at UPMC Presbyterian are provided in several units, each with a singular focus. Patients may be discharged from the unit to home or other facilities, or transferred to other units at UPMC Presbyterian as their needs change. Specialize units at UPMC Presbyterian include:

What should I know about children as visitors?

With the patient’s comfort and infection prevention in mind, children under the age of 12 are discouraged from visiting UPMC Presbyterian. Children under the age of 12 must have an adult present at all times in all areas of the hospital, including lobbies, rooms, restrooms, cafeteria and corridors.
