Psychiatric consultation and liaison & long term care
Psychiatric Consultation, Liaison, and Long-Term Care Services are extended into the medical/surgical hospitals of UPMC. Consultation is provided for patients when requested by the treating physician. Liaisons work to assist physicians and nurses in their work with patients with emotional or psychiatric problems. Our professional staff works with families facing challenges for long term care of patients.
